*COVID-19 INFORMATION*

Participant safety and well-being are our number one concern. Here is what we are planning on doing to help keep people safe while they visit the Edmonton Ski Club:
*MASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL PROGRAMS, EVENTS & ACTIVITIES*
Access to Facilities
  • Please limit your time indoors;

  • The patio area will be set up for seating only with regard for spacing of 2 metres between tables;

  • Hand sanitizer, masks and gloves will be made available at all entrances;

  • Maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres between individual groups.

Cleaning

  • Staff will follow a strict cleaning regiment and log to include wiping down all items brought into the Edmonton Ski Club, all equipment, counters, door handles, point of sale, and other items;

  • Disinfectant spray and wipes will be place at all stations and cash registers;

  • The washrooms will be regularly cleaned and sanitized.

Food and Beverage Service

  • Food and beverages will be available for take-out and alcohol service will be available via table service on the patio.

Interactions

  • Customers are encouraged not to shake hands with staff and to please distance themselves from staff respectfully;

  • Customers are encouraged to use electronic or card-based payment methods;

  • Signage will be posted reminding everyone to engage in good public health practices.

Programs

  • Minimum distance of 2 metres will be maintained whenever possible;

  • In the event of an emergency where physical distance cannot be maintained, all leaders will be equipped with extra masks, gloves and hand sanitizer;

  • Minimal equipment will be shared and each participant will be supplied with a water bottle.

Special Events

  • Physical distancing of 2 metres will be maintained whenever possible;

  • All entertainment will take place in a separate area from event attendees and follow current Alberta Government Regulations;

  • Event registration will be tracked through the event page on this website and through an onsite check-in/waiver, including names and contact information of all individuals.

We recognize that people still need to keep using the river valley, have their bikes repaired and need to keep riding for health, safety and personal well-being. Our management team will be constantly discussing our next steps as the situation continues to evolve.

*We will be requesting that everyone who enters the Edmonton Ski Club engage in good public health practices such as frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes with an arm, and to avoid touching one’s face. Staff will ask patrons to leave and/or shut down operations immediately if deemed unsafe for customers or in the case of further restrictions due to COVID-19*
