Rescheduling and Cancelling Lessons

Lessons can be cancelled and rescheduled via our self-service booking system. Please note that lessons can only be cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours before their start time. The self-service system will not permit changes if the class is less than 48 hours away from starting.

Cancellation requests made less than 48 hours from the lesson start time are not eligible for a refund or credit. Exceptions are made only for  suspected serious illness or injury, verified with a doctor's note outlining the applicable dates missed.  Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours from the start time cannot be fulfilled. We've included steps on rescheduling and cancelling via the self-service system below. For information on requesting a reschedule or refund after completing a self-service cancellation, please scroll to the bottom of this page.

Step 1: Select the Log In button in the website header.

Step 2: The new page will have the title text Sign Up. Select the green login link beside Already a member? To log in, use the username and password that was used to book the lesson.

Step 3: You'll now be logged in and returned to the regular Edmonton Ski Club website. Click on the dropdown arrow beside your name and select the My Bookings link.

Step 4: You'll be brought to your account, and it will show your currently booked lessons. 

If the lesson is more than 48 hours away from its starting time, you will see Reschedule and Cancel links.

Reschedule: The booking calendar will open up. Please select a new date and time for the class to complete the rescheduling process.


Cancel: The system will confirm whether to proceed with the cancellation. Select Yes to complete the cancellation.


Cancelling a lesson purchased via a pricing plan:

The used pricing plan credit will be returned to your account.

Cancelling a lesson purchased directly (no pricing plan):

Currently, the system is unable to provide refunds for directly purchased lessons. 

To be eligible for a credit or refund, please cancel the lesson more than 48 hours before its starting time.

Next, please email requesting a credit or refund. As per our refund policy, eligible refund requests are issued less a 5% admin fee.

Cancelling a pricing plan [My Subscription page]:

We encourage guests to reach out to with questions regarding pricing plans. Cancelling a pricing plan sets the number of remaining sessions to zero. Our plans do not auto-renew and are valid only for 6 months after purchase.
