Participant safety and well-being are our number one concern. Here is what we are planning on doing to help keep people safe while they visit the Edmonton Ski Club:
Access to Facilities
Limited access to the lodge to 1 person/group per staff member while maintaining a minimum distance of 2 metres using floor markings and maximum indoor gathering numbers;
The patio area will be set up for seating only with regard for minimum spacing requirements and maximum occupancy guidelines of 50%, until further notice;
All seating will be unavailable in the lodge, until further notice;
Hand sanitizer and gloves will be made available at all entrances;
Maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres between those waiting in line through the use of ground markings.
Staff will follow a strict cleaning regiment and log to include wiping down all items brought into the Edmonton Ski Club, all equipment, counters, door handles, point of sale, and other items;
Disinfectant spray and wipes will be place at all stations and cash registers;
The washrooms will be regularly cleaned and sanitized.
Food and Beverage Service
Food and beverages will be available for take-out only and alcohol service will be unavailable, until further notice.
Customers are encourages not to shake hands with staff and to please distance themselves from staff respectfully;
Customers are encouraged to use electronic or card-based payment methods;
Signage will be posted reminding everyone to engage in good public health practices.
We recognize that people still need to keep using the river valley, have their bikes repaired and need to keep riding for health, safety and personal well-being. Our management team will be constantly discussing our next steps as the situation continues to evolve.
*We will be requesting that everyone who enters the Edmonton Ski Club engage in good public health practices such as frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes with an arm, and to avoid touching one’s face. Staff will ask patrons to leave and/or shut down operations immediately if deemed unsafe for customers or in the case of further restrictions due to COVID-19*
