The K1 and regional racing programs offer training and racing opportunities for athletes aged 11 to 16. These programs are appropriate for racers who have graduated from the Nancy Greene program, and also for skiers without racing experience. Training is focused on improving racing and general skiing skills, while having fun.
Experienced, qualified coaches help all racers improve their skiing while providing a fun and safe training and racing environment.

Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 and Saturday mornings 9:30 to 12:30 at ESC. There are also additional training opportunities in the mountains.
Racing programs are run under the supervision and auspices of The Edmonton Alpine Ski Racing Society a nonprofit society not affiliated with the Edmonton Ski Club.
